Alumni Association Board Portals

Does anyone use a portal for their board members to access files, etc.? We used to have one long ago at WPI, but current software doesn't allow for those outside the org to log-in. Just wondering if there are some non-expensive options for this rather than emailing minutes, agendas, etc. Thanks in advance!
